Secuna Platform UI and Design System

Contributed to the design system and platform UI of a cybersecurity platform, helping establish consistent and scalable design foundations.

Secuna Platform UI and Design System

Overview

Secuna is a cybersecurity platform that helps organizations identify and manage vulnerabilities through coordinated security testing and researcher collaboration.

The project involved contributing to the platform’s UI and establishing the foundations of its design system.

The Problem

As the platform evolved, there was a need for a more consistent and scalable design approach.

This required:

  • establishing a shared design foundation
  • improving consistency across the interface
  • supporting a growing set of features

Our Role

We worked on the platform UI and contributed to building the design system foundation.

  • Designed parts of the platform interface
  • Defined and refined UI components and patterns
  • Helped ensure consistency across screens and features

Approach

The work focused on balancing system thinking with practical product needs.

  • Established consistent spacing, typography, and layout rules
  • Built reusable components and patterns
  • Collaborated with the team to align design decisions
  • Supported ongoing product development with UI improvements

Key Considerations

Since the platform deals with technical and security-related workflows, clarity and usability were important.

  • Making complex information easier to understand
  • Keeping interfaces structured and predictable
  • Ensuring consistency across different parts of the platform

Outcome

The design system foundation helped improve consistency and made it easier to scale the product interface.

The platform UI became more structured and cohesive as new features were introduced.
